I finally got up the wherewithal and spent a useful hour in the garden. Grass cut, a small tidy up and I dug the spuds up. A fine crop, two carrier bags full and some given to my neighbour. For an experiment with four supermarket sprouting spuds I am delighted. I shall have some boiled tonight with butter and maybe chopped chives. What is good is that the soil is easily broken up and with compost added, I shall prepare it for next year as I decide what to grow in the raised bed. My tomatoes were blown over by the gales from the other night and one plant is in a sorry state. Hopefully we’ll have some sunny weather over the next six weeks so they can ripen. The wild flowers are thriving and we picked the right spot for them.

I am finishing off the various builds but whilst waiting for clear coats and decals to dry, I have started on a new kit. This one is unusual for me and I will reveal it when it is completed. The cats have flattened a favourite build of mine, possibly by jumping or sitting on it. An old RE 8 biplane from WW1 so I have ordered a new kit, albeit an SE 5a in a larger scale and there are two models in the kit. Oddly enough I don’t mind the cats destroying old builds as I have now stored some of the older armour builds away. I intend to leave them with a charity shop as they might make a few quid for the charity from any sales. I prefer to keep the biplanes as I have always liked them since I was a kid.

Otherwise, quiet and restful days although I recently had issues with Spotify and I currently have no access. I cancelled the account after I couldn’t access and despite two days of attempting to sort it out, Spotify let the cat out of the bag when my email address was stated by them to be a Bulgarian one! Needless to say I cancelled immediately as I was afraid my account had been hacked and despite their reassurances I wasn’t satisfied with their explanation. I now have to consider another music provider. I have CD’s so that can fill the gap for now. So much for progress. I shan’t comment on the current state of UK politics as Starmers stasi might be monitoring but the earthquakes, volcanoes and 3i/Atlas might make world politics more interesting. Stay safe folks, the monsters wear expensive suits and aren’t necessarily hiding beneath the bed.

TTFN.

An amazing number of potatoes from 4, excellent, hope they were as tasty as they look.

I am so tired of companies taking money and then not providing the services contracted, then making out it is the customer's fault for some spurious reason. Well done for taking your custom elsewhere.

They are very tasty and I am surprised they turned out so well and so many.

Yes, It is tiring dealing with incompetent companies and then to lie really annoyed me.
