Rigging finally completed and decals applied to three of the Gladiators with a protective clear coat brushed on. Some tidying up required to finish them and aerials to be attached. From left to right:
Finnish (Swedish volunteer) aircraft during the Winter War against the USSR (1940); RAF Gladiator circa 1937 and a Hellenic airforce fighter during the war with Italy circa 1940. I have two more Gladiators to build and I will choose which schemes to build them in, possibly as colourful as possible!
Still no news about Sue's biopsy results and we are again in that limbo of hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Sue celebrated her sixty eighth birthday this week and unsurprisingly a muted affair but cake and presents involved. It is also raining again although the high winds have finally stopped so very much a time to stay indoors. The shenanigans of Halloween have finished and the inevitable Xmas adverts are on the TV and other assorted media. Soon be time to dust off The Christmas Carol DVD...it comes around so quickly! Not a lot to say currently as we seem to have entered the doldrums although the frequent crashes and bangs of fireworks reminds me that this weekend sees the burning of an effigy of a Catholic mercenary who attempted to blow up parliament and the king. Where are the guys when we need them now?
TTFN.

Absolutely! Sushi and Starmer couldn't run a piss up in a brewery, let alone a country, between them.
Hope you get some news soon. And happy belated birthday to Sue.
Thank you BW.
Yes, mediocrities fumbling in the dark sadly screwing up the lives of ordinary folk.
